About us
Established in 1995, GW Auto Repairs is a reputable and successful family-run business located in the heart of Carlisle, Cumbria.
We are an MOT testing station and welcome all makes and models of cars and vans including light commercials. Our four fully qualified Vehicle Technicians have over 85 years of combined experience who can provide a wide range of auto repairs, servicing & vehicle maintenance.

MOT's
The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
You must get an MOT for you vehicle by either;

The third anniversary of its registration
-
The anniversary of its last MOT, if it is over three years old.
We have three VOSA approved MOT testers and the latest OPTL (One Person Testing Lane).
Discounts are offered when booking your vehicle for an MOT and full service at the same time.
Car & Van Servicing
EU Legislation states you are not required by law to service your vehicle at a main dealer to validate your warranty.
We service all makes and models including light commercials. We pride ourselves in supplying and fitting quality approved parts and lubricants.
